About Me
I am a retired biologist, who traveled the world, studying wild populations of birds. A long time quilter, I now have more time to pursue my passion for designing quilts inspired by animals and the outdoors. In the coming year, I will launch the my first series of patterns. As a former professor, I try to ensure that each of my patterns, offers clear instructions and opportunities to learn. The name of my shop was inspired by the guy you see here, who visits the 140-year-old apple trees in my yard to fatten up for the winter. I hope you enjoy my patterns and tutorials.
